Tech Talk #6: Innovation in MedTech: Remote Patient Monitoring

The sixth of The Camp's Tech Talk events this spring

Major healthcare systems are adopting remote patient monitoring systems and technology for groups of patients with chronic conditions. How are these systems being implemented and what kind of technology is being used? We will try to give an answer to these questions in our sixth Tech Talk with the help from CACHET, Cortrium & ATAH Aps (joint presentation), Sumondo, Mequ, and Phillips.

Ph.D. and lector Helena Domínguez from CACHET will provide you with an overview of the potentials and challenges within MedTech and Remote Patient Monitoring and tell you more about her research on the HIT experience at Herlev Hospital.
Helena's presentation is followed by a presentation by Jacob E. Nielsen COO at Cortrium, who will tell you more about Cortrium’s C3 Holter Monitor, which is an affordable, wearable sensor screening body temperature, electrocardiogram, and other vital signs. Medical grade data, easy application and real-time results ensure a superior experience for both patients and medical professionals.
Last, but not least, Nicholas Syhler CEO at ATAH Aps will tell you about its Cardio Care Adventure, which is an app and a web-based decision guide for management of patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Vishal Sisodia, Founder of Sumondo, will present how their product is help people around the world to monitor and relieve their day-to-day stress in order to make their lives healthy and more productive.
Sumondo Pro is a new application within health technology for measuring stress using science Heart Rate Variability (HRV). By using few minutes a day to do guided meditation, listen to calming nature sounds or do breathing exercises, one can prevent stress in your daily life and stay healthy.

Design Director Marie Lyhne at MEQU will do a presentation on the perspective on medical innovation and what they learned about patient handling.

District Manager for Health Systems in Denmark at Philips, Jens Ole Pedersen, will do a presentation to cover the corporate point of view - we garantee that you’ll be inspired!
